We have a unique framework that encompasses the competencies against which all staff are assessed, as well as a structured program of activities that allow you to plan your development; measure how you’re doing against your goals; and gain formal and informal feedback. Put simply, it’s your toolkit for the best career planning you could hope for on the island.

So what does that mean for you?

Our commitment to your development is an integral part of the PwC Experience. Working with your coach, you’ll build your own development plan to define your own goals on an annual basis – based with your long-term plan in mind but mapped to the 10 core competencies. These goals will be crucial to your end-of-year review – but will mean that, while working with us, you’ll not only be enriching your experience but enhancing your skills broadly. You’ll perform better and enjoy greater job satisfaction.

You’ll also be given feedback via formal sessions – which might take place following a client engagement or project – as well as informally from your line manager and coach.

All your development activity – plans, assessment, outcomes – will be recorded electronically, so that you’ll have an annual summary automatically created for you and your coach to use as the basis of next year’s plan.

Nowhere can you expect a closer focus on individual career development. It’s one of the most popular reasons that people who join us, stay with us.
