Auditor

Do you like working with numbers as much as you do with people – and do you enjoy investigating things? As a financial auditor or company auditor, you will work with clients to drill down to the reality behind a company’s beating heart: the annual financial statements.

You also have the talent to get these figures to tell their story. Your job will consist of making enquiries, analysing and drawing conclusions. You will provide all of a company’s stakeholders with a clear picture about its overall financial situation and will have your client’s ear at all times.

Industry
In the “Industry” Group, you will have the opportunity of working with clients in very diverse business sectors covering the range of non-financial sectors such as: pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, and the industrial, technology or services sectors.

Financial Services
Do you feel ready to take up the challenge posed by the fast-evolving financial markets and do you want to be where the action is? As an auditor in the “Financial Services” Group, you will take part in auditing banks, insurance companies, investment funds and leasing and real estate companies.

Your profile

• You have a master’s degree in (Applied) Economics, Law, Business Studies, Commercial Engineering or other relevant economics-based qualification, possibly via a second master’s in a business area. (Fledgling auditors will be required to have done a good basic accounting course as part of their studies and preferably additional financial and analytical modules.)
• You are graduating this academic year or have a maximum of two years’ experience.
• You are a born team-player with a sense of initiative. You want to keep on learning and are looking to develop and grow further.
• You have a critical and analytical mind, as well as good communication skills and you are client-oriented.
• You are able to express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English.
