An international career

A foreign adventure after a few years’ experience: EPIC

Epic

“Workforce mobility is a key strategy for talent management in today’s dynamic economic and business environment.” This is the programme’s underlying tone. PwC more than any other employer is very much aware that our leaders of tomorrow also need foreign experience to develop properly into their role. Talented, ambitious PwC staff get ample opportunity to prove their worth.

Find out all about the PwC EPIC programme. Enjoy the pictures and listen to the testimonials from PwCers on assignment. You can even do a quiz to find out whether an international professional adventure with PwC is something for you.

Start your career abroad as an auditor: Check-in

Checkin

Maybe you want to start your career in the PwC network in another country? You can if you opt to become an auditor. Because we already have a harmonised international induction programme for Auditors at PwC.

As you would expect, there are a few fairly stringent conditions for taking this direction:

  • You have to meet the basic requirements for all graduates in the country you want to go to. You need the minimum of a university (or equivalent) business-related qualification.
  • You need to demonstrate that, in addition to fluent written and spoken English, you are also competent in at least one of the official languages of the country you want to work in.
  • Finally, you must support your application with a well-argued letter giving your reasons.

For example, if you fell in love with Madrid during your Erasmus exchange, you will have to pass a Spanish exam as well as an English test. Our colleagues in Spain will then take it from there and put you through their own selection procedure.

Everyone who starts at a PwC office abroad gets a return ticket back to the Belgian firm. In other words, you can always apply to come back and work for PwC Belgium. For further information, see the Check-in website. You can also use this link to make an international job application to PwC. We wish you the best of luck!

For starters in other domains, you may well find it better to put your international move within the PwC network off until you have a few years of solid technical knowledge under your belt.
