FAQ

Have you got a question for PwC? Who knows? Maybe you’ll already find the answer below.

Is language knowledge important?

Languages are important because we work in an international environment. English is the lingua franca for all internal communication, so you must have both a spoken and a written command of the language. French is also important because you’ll be deployed to serve both Dutch-speaking and French-speaking clients. You have to be able to cope reasonably well, but we don’t necessarily expect perfect trilingualism. A good tip: prepare your interview in the three languages.

I’m afraid to apply at this early stage because I’ve not yet had a number of important courses. Should I still apply now?

We don’t yet expect you to have perfect technical knowledge. Naturally, you have to have the basic principles, and power of reasoning is certainly of importance.

I really want to work abroad: will I get the chance at PwC?

After a few years’ experience, you may go and work abroad for a short or long period. You will find further information on the page on international opportunities.

How best can I prepare for an interview?

We offer this tip: prepare, be yourself and be honest. You can prepare by reading our website, brushing up your languages and coming equipped to your interview. Try and answer all the questions as honestly as possible, admit if you don’t know something and don’t assume any roles: we’ll see through you sooner or later. More tips for your cv, letter of application and interview can be found on www.theoneclub.be.
