PricewaterhouseCoopers in top 3 of the Belgium’s most attractive employers

PricewaterhouseCoopers has been voted by business students as one of Belgium’s most attractive employers in the Trendence ranking “Belgium’s 100" and achieved to reach the top 3!

The ranking was created from the annual Graduate Barometer, carried out by the leading employer brand research institute, Trendence. The online questionnaire covered a total of 22 European markets with just under 200,000 students, making it the largest survey of its kind carried out in Europe.

Ine Lejeune, Taxman 2009

Ine Lejeune, PwC Partner and Global Indirect Taxes Network Leader, has won the prestigious Belgian tax award on 14 May. Nominated were only those who have provided a major contribution in the field of tax.

Ine Lejeune is responsible worldwide for the PricewaterhouseCoopers Indirect Taxes Network (covering VAT, customs, excise and other indirect taxes). As an example, she enabled the introduction of VAT grouping for groups of companies; this enables groups to pay VAT only once and avoid any duplication of costs, hence enhancing their competitive position. VAT grouping also improves Belgium’s attractiveness to domestic entrepreneurs and foreign investors thanks to the benefits of simplification, cash-flow improvement and cost reduction. In addition, this measure gives the tax authorities more clout, as they are now able to invoke joint and separate liabilities, and employ a larger array of controls.
