At PwC Belgium, we especially focus on the following industry groups.

Financial Services

A burgeoning team of some 200 professionals offer support to the market for Financial Services (FS). Insurance companies, banks, investment firms, funds, real estate and infrastructure providers all come to PwC for their advisory needs. We cover a range of domains of expertise within the financial sector.

Public Services

We are independent advisers who put quality first in providing support to the public sector: government, education (non-profit) and healthcare. Our clients in this area include the European institutions, Belgian local, regional and national governments, state-owned companies and the World Bank. We work on a wide range of topics in the public sector, including sustainability, mobility, administrative simplification, development assistance and many more. Our team currently consists of over 50 experts and we will certainly be growing further over the coming years.

Transaction and Valuation Services

The market recognises us as specialists in financial and fiscal due diligence/structuring, complete with a ‘best quality’ label. Our Transaction and Valuation Services group provides a wide range of services in a broad context, to both buyers and sellers, as well as post-deal services. We have a network of specialists who work across borders on transactions and valuations and can boast an impressive list of successful cross-border transactions within the Eurozone. Our team currently consists of almost 100 experts and we will certainly be growing further over the coming years.

Real Estate

PwC Belgium’s Real Estate Practice has some 20 experts backed by a very strong international network. In Belgium, our experts work mainly for real estate clients in the business world and, in the broader Eurozone, for private equity firms, investment banks and private companies. We are constantly expanding our national and international network, both in and outside Europe.

Pharmaceuticals

The fifty or so pharmaceutical specialists at PwC Belgium form part of a PwC network that stretches across the world and is recognised as a pioneer in providing services to the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. We play an active part in all of the main related segments: branded and generic medicines, biotechnology and medical equipment.

Transport & Logistics

Our Transport & Logistics group handles a broad range of industries and provides services to the air transport and airport sector, as well as in the area of logistics and postal services, railways and infrastructure, shipping and ports. PwC doesn’t just work for clients in the private sector: we are also an ongoing service-provider to a whole host of government institutions. PwC has a strong international network that includes some 15 professionals in Belgium.

Energy & Utilities

PwC is the world’s leading adviser to the Energy & Utilities sector, more specifically for development, exploration, production, downstream and service companies. We focus on providing professional services to companies of all sizes in all segments of industry. We have a strong, reliable network in this sector that includes 15 multi-disciplinary professionals in Belgium and a strong position in the area of mergers and acquisitions.

Retail & Consumer

Within PwC we have combined both retail and consumer-oriented companies into one practice group. Our Retail & Consumer practice is one of the largest within the firm. The retail & consumer industry consists of clients selling directly to the end-consumer as well as clients that produce and distribute goods for consumption. We have broad experience in the sector with a flourishing team of specialists here in Belgium; the majority of our professional staff work for clients within R&C.
