ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting (ACCA DipIFR)

PwC Academy invites you  to participate in the training program for June 2013 ACCA DipIFR qualification exam to be held in Yerevan.

About the qualification 

  • The ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting (ACCA DipIFR) is an IFRS qualification developed by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a leading international institution participating in IFRS development.
  • The ACCA DipIFR is recognized globally.
  • The training program for the exam will be conducted by PwC Moscow Academy leading trainer, who has specialized in the training development and training delivery in the area of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Program objectives 

This program is developed for accountants, financial reporting specialists and auditors who have skills of preparing and/or auditing statutory financial statements and wish to obtain skills in IFRS reporting and become specialists accredited by ACCA.

Specialists certified under this program will acquire:

  • in-depth understanding of key IFRS principles and rules;
  • knowledge of IFRS requirements for recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of financial statement components;
  • skills necessary for preparing financial statements under IFRS, including consolidated financial statements;
  • experience in developing professional judgement on practical application of IFRS.

Schedule of studies 

3 days - introduction session (April 9-11, 2013)

3 days - booster session (May 7-9, 2013)

4 days - review session (May 28 -31, 2013)

1 day   - mock examination (June 5, 2013)

Training sessions will start at 10:00 and last till 18:00 each day. Two coffee breaks will be provided daily during the training session.

Fee 

Fee per participant (VAT exclusive) is determined based on the following schedule:

  1. 360,000 AMD  if the participant registers and pays by 15 February, 2013;
  2. 380,000 AMD, if the participant registers and pays in the period of 18 -28 February, 2013;
  3. 400,000 AMD, if the participant registers and pays in the period of 1-15, March, 2013;
  4. 5% discount will be given to the entity, if three and more participants attend the training.

The fee will include:

  • registration fee for the main examination (GBP 186) to be organized by ACCA in Yerevan on 11-Jun-2013;
  • administrative support in registering with ACCA for DipIFR examination.
  • 99 academic hours of in-class instruction;
  • PwC manuals ;
  • interim tests;
  • mock examination (+3 hours to the main course);
  • instructor's interactive support throughout the training period;
  • coffee breaks.

Eligibility 

Professional accountants and auditors, working in practice and industry, who are qualified in accordance with national accounting standards, are eligible to take exam for DipIFR qualification (official documentation is required to prove eligibility).


Practitioners who may not yet be qualified, but who can verify the following, are also eligible:

  • a relevant degree plus two years' work experience;
  • three years' relevant accounting experience (by submitting a letter from your employer);
  • an ACCA Certificate in International Financial Reporting plus two years' work experience.

Venue of training sessions 

The training sessions will be conducted at PwC Armenia office located at #1 Northern Avenue, Business Centre NORD, 6th floor.
