PricewaterhouseCoopers Services LLP will host a breakfast briefing on 10 July 2009 to analyse and discuss in-depth perspectives on India Budget 2009 as well as its implications on the socio-political and economic landscape in India. More specifically, PwC tax experts from India and Singapore will focus on the impact of the Budget on businesses in India and on foreign companies planning to invest in India and/or do business with Indian companies.
Like every major economy, India has been affected by the current financial crisis, registering an estimated GDP growth of 6.7% for FY08-09 as compared to 8.7% in FY07-08. India Budget 2009 will be unveiled on 6 July 2009.
