Fiona Mules

Fiona is a Director within our Corporate Finance practice and operates from the Christchurch office. Fiona is experienced in the analysis, structuring, negotiation and execution of strategic market transactions. She has prepared numerous independent expert reports pursuant to the Takeovers Code and NZX Listing Rules, with a particular focus on business and share valuation. Fiona has ten years of M&A experience across a variety of sectors, with specific expertise in finance and technology, and has worked in both an external advisory and internal advisory capacity.

Through a combination of real-world commercial experience and analytical skills, Fiona provides an approach based on independent thinking and thorough research.

A sample of some of Fiona’s recent engagements includes:

    • Full transaction service (from initial scoping analysis through to deal execution) provided in relation to several capital raising, merger and sale of business mandates in the technology sector.
    • Financial analysis and execution advice provided in respect of the establishment of several joint ventures and strategic partnerships, and the acquisition of various loan portfolios, in the financial services sector.
    • Evaluation of various strategic options for growth and exit for clients operating in the investment, agribusiness, neutraceutical, food and beverage, retail and professional services sectors.
    • Valuation advice, incorporating DCF methodology and market-based evidence, provided for clients operating in the agribusiness, transport, technology, financial services, education and manufacturing sectors.
    • Independent appraisal reports provided for clients in relation to market transactions in the tourism, manufacturing, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, financial services and property sectors.
