- Identification and assessment of options for continuance/closure of the business or individual segments
- Working with company executives in preparing and implementing cost reduction programmes
- Assisting in the preparation and implementation of optimised exit programmes where non-viable business units are identified
- Help in determining compensation terms where workforce reduction is necessary to restore viability
- Assistance in negotiation with lenders and other creditors to agree revised payment terms in line with the company's ability to meet its obligations
- Advice and assistance in preparing an application to Court for the appointment of an Examiner, where a period of Court protection is required to put in place a scheme for reorganisation or refinancing the company
- Preparation of the Independent Accountant's Report to the High Court in support of an application for protection
- Advising shareholders and directors in their negotiations with other stakeholders when an Examiner is appointed
- Acting as Examiner on the nomination of shareholders or directors
