Actuary / Director
Charlie has had over 25 years experience in financial services and actuarial consulting in the UK and New Zealand. He qualified as an actuary in 1981.

His consulting assignments have included:
- being actuary to several life insurance companies
- market valuations of insurance companies for sale and purchase
- advice on demutualisation of insurance companies
- being actuary to a number of superannuation schemes
- reserving and premium rating for health and general insurance companies
- advice on provisioning to a bank.
Charlie is a past committee member of the NZ Society of Actuaries’ Committee and is convenor of its Life Insurance Committee. He was a member of the Justice Department working party on life insurance prudential supervision.
