An example: MusTT, a study commissioned by the EC
An example of the research that we perform under the authority of the European Commission is the MusTT. This preparatory study was a multi-stakeholder targeted action on sustainable tourism and transport. This was made in order to define the approach for a healthy ratio between the tourism volume and the input needed to transport tourists. The long-term objective is to uncouple environmental degradation and the growth of European tourism and to encourage innovative practices to this end. And, in general, to encourage innovative practices regarding sustainable production and consumption patterns in European tourism.
