At the awards dinner held at the Civic Centre Lagos, Ken Igbokwe, Country Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria said, “This is the 3rd time that Business Day and PricewaterhouseCoopers are recognising excellence in Nigeria and I am very pleased with the continued interest of the business community in these awards. If this survey stimulates discussion, raises awareness of the issues of accountability and good governance and raises the bar of transparency for stakeholders, then we would have achieved our objectives”.

The Top 3 reasons for respecting a company this year are strong brand name, good corporate governance and excellent management structure.
