Healthcare represents an increasingly large share of the global economy. More than three-fourths of healthcare executives are somewhat or very confident about their prospects for revenue growth in the next 12 months and over the next three years.
They point to several sources of competitive advantage in achieving their growth objectives. More than three-fourths of respondents focused on three key sources of advantage: access to and retention of key talent; improved customer service; and the ability to adapt to change.
Two-thirds of CEOs believe that technological innovation also will be critical to achieving growth, and in fact, this factor was cited more frequently than any other as the main source of competitive advantage in achieving growth.
