On 3 April 2006 the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) officially started its market study into Payment Protection Insurance (PPI). The OFT published a paper on 7 August setting out the ‘emerging issues’ from the study.
This bulletin is the first in a series following the progress of this market study. It looks at the key issues being raised and gives some thought to what firms might wish to consider in their responses.
