Highlights from London Investment Management forum, March 2006
No-one can afford to be caught sitting on the sidelines as this piece of high-impact legislation hits the home straight. Europe's Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) may have been long and slow in development, but the effect of this Directive, due for implementation in November next year, is all-pervasive. And while the EU's policymakers still have much to do to finalise the legislation, there is no case for waiting to see exactly what the rules say in their final form.
