On 25 January 2008, the Minister of Finance and National Planning Hon. Ngándu P. Magande, delivered his budget address fro the fiscal year ending 31 December 2008 to the National Assembly. Themed "Unlocking Resources for Economic Empowerment and Wealth Creation", the 2008 budget in the recent years and proposes various policies aimed at the creating a nation of dynamic, self confident and vibrant entrepreneurs.
