For technology to drive the competitive advantage in a sustainable fashion, banks need to have clearly defined strategic goals and translate them into appropriate IT goals. The purpose of this study is to understand if Banks in India have the right foundations in place to leverage technology to its maximum potential.

The research comprised of face to face interviews with senior IT executives at Indian Banks, and was further supplemented with PwC research covering industry sources as well as PwC Global Best Practices.
