Soo-Hwan Park is the leader of tax practice of PwC in Korea and deputy CEO of Samil PwC. Mr. Park has over 20 years of experience assisting Korean as well as Japanese multinational companies with mergers, acquisitions, tax appeals, tax planning and restructuring. He also has a significant amount of experience providing these services to major Korean and Japan-based financial institutions. Mr. Park worked for the Bank of Korea and the Office of Bank Supervision prior to joining Samil PwC.
Mr. Park has been active in advising government and public entities with tax legislation and administration. Presently he is a member of the Pre-assessment Review Committee and the National Tax Examination Committee of the National Tax Service and advisor member of the Korea Institute of Public Finance.
Mr. Park has a Bachelor's degree in economics from Yeungnam University and a Master's degree in tax and accounting from the International Business School of Hongik University.
