Entrance to international capital markets provides access to additional sources of financing, ensures a more accurate assessment of the company’s value, improves image of the company in the eyes of potential investors. However to get a maximum return from an IPO companies should get ready for this step in advance. If you cannot influence market conditions your preparedness for an IPO is a result of your personal efforts! Companies that treat this step as a process and not as a one-off event launch more successful IPOs. This is a process of business transformation, increase of the company’s value, achieving a new level of business. In this connection proper preparation to an IPO creates competitive advantages which help better assess value of the company even if it chooses another way to attract funds / sell existing shares (e.g. through involvement of a strategic investor). These issues will be detailed within this programme.

Seminar programme
Duration of each seminar — two days. Day one: general meeting of participants where key aspects of an IPO launch will be presented. Day two: at your option personal face-to-face meetings will be held with speakers of your choice: representatives of investment banks; tax, legal and accounting experts; and representatives of PR companies when making an IPO. You will find an opportunity to get detailed information about key stages of an IPO preparation process and about steps required to become a successful public company and attract international capital into the company. The enclosed programme includes topics that will be discussed during the seminars.
Invited speakers
Each seminar is unique but at each seminar you will hear partners of the global PricewaterhouseCoopers global network from Russia, Germany, Great Britain and Singapore as well as representatives of such stock exchanges as Deutsche Borse, London Stock Exchange (LSE), Singapore Exchange (SGX), RTS and leading investment banks of Europe and Asia.
Seminar format
For interactive purposes we form groups of maximum 20 participants — representatives of top managers of large Russian companies (the level of Financial Director, Director on Strategic Planning and Development, Director on Relations with Investors) who plan an IPO within the near 2–3 years.
In the course of the seminar when working in small groups you will be able to learn about key peculiarities of your company’s preparedness for an IPO, steps to increase value of your business, assess your company’s preparedness for communication with international investors, learn about listing requirements, pre-IPO review stages and meet representatives of international investment banks.
Meetings will be held in the Russian and English languages. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
