We are looking for people who have had consistent academic success throughout year 13, and who have made a positive contribution to school and community life.
We are accepting applications from students who are intending ideally to study towards one of the following degrees, however, we are happy to take and consider applications from students intending to study other conjoint degrees providing the conjoint degree includes Commerce:
- Commerce (majoring in Accounting)
- Commerce (majoring in Finance)
- Commerce (majoring in Accounting & Information Systems)
- Commerce & Law (majoring in Accounting or Finance)
You also need to be in Year 13 at one of the schools invited to participate in the PwC Foundation Aspire Scholarship Programme.
Participating Schools
Your school will need to be a part of the programme. Invitations to nominate a student for a Scholarship have been presented to more than 50 secondary schools with decile ratings between 1 to 7 in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. All the schools approached have demonstrated success in getting their students accepted into University programmes.
Why should you apply?
As a Scholarship winner we will provide you with study assistance valued at $7,000 over the course of your degree ($1,750 per year for a four-year degree) which we will pay at the start of each University year. If you take another year to complete a relevant double degree or postgraduate studies, a further $1,750 will be awarded towards your tuition fees.
