On joining the firm, you will participate in our thorough induction programme which is tailored to meet the needs of someone new to the firm. The induction course introduces you to people from each department and brings you up to speed on your role-specific technical and IT skills.
Throughout your career, you will receive a combination of training courses that cover technical, industry, business, management and IT skills so that your are fully prepared to deliver first-class service to our clients. This occurs through a blend of formal training and on-the-job coaching and mentoring. You will be assigned a counsellor, whose role is to support you throughout your career with PwC. Key features of this on-going relationship include:
- Objectives setting to identify the skills you need to meet your professional objectives (this forms the basis of each person's annual training plan)
- Obtaining regular feedback on assignments
- Delivery of your annual performance appraisal which measures your performance and progression
