Internal firm services (IFS)

At PwC, we have professionals working in key internal service areas to support our business and help us maintain our position as Ireland’s leading professional services firm. Our IFS practice includes executive chefs, graphic and web designers, health and safety specialists, information professionals, IT professionals, marketers, training professionals, space planners and HR professionals.

Below you will find a quick overview of each of our IFS areas

Global Technology Solutions (GTS) – Responsible for the firm’s IT development and management, including user support, application development, systems support and systems engineering.

Human Resources – Responsible for working closely with the business in developing its people agenda. In addition HR are responsible for recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations and overall employee support.

Learning & Development - Responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering technical and management skills training programmes to all our people.

Infrastructure - Responsible for the day-to-day running of the office environment including building services, catering, print & post room, reception and facilities.

Finance & Planning – Manages the firm’s budgets & systems, finance operations, reporting, cheques, payroll and pensions.

Information and Research Centre - Responsible for collecting, coordinating and managing data on business and industries, legislation, case law and market information.

Marketing and Communications – Responsible for firmwide advertising, brand and image, graphic design, marketing events, PwC publications and website coordination and management.

Senior Partners Office - Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Territory Partnership.
