As a Corporate Finance and Recovery services professional you will primarily be responsible for various aspects of voluntary and compulsory liquidation engagements. Most staff and senior accountants work directly under a manager on a one-to-one basis, due to the nature of the engagements.
Duties will include drafting of Court Reports, obtaining custody and realization of assets, dealing with creditors and other interested parties, maintaining and updating financial records and information, cash flow and financial modelling, performing various forensic accounting and tracing activities along with extensive interaction with other PwC offices, regulatory agencies, third parties, and clients.
Applicants need to be generalists with an outgoing personality, a strong fundamental accounting background and an interest in corporate and insolvency law.
We have a continuing learning and education programme which addresses technical skills relevant to the financial services industry as well as general skills that will contribute to the employee's overall personal development.
