What our people say:

As a new graduate the induction week run in Auckland by the HCL team was a most memorable event of my time so far with PWC. The chance to meet new people who shared the challenges that I faced and had had similar experiences to date helped a lot. The HCL team were very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and focused our learning for us to be able to successfully face the challenges involved in our new career paths. Tania

Since starting as a graduate at PricewaterhouseCoopers last year, I have attended a significant number of job-specific technical training sessions, technology training and personal development courses. A list of all available courses is provided on the HCL database, and this provides a really good reference point for enrolling on relevant courses. Zubin

To me, the depth of the HCL programme shows how committed the firm is when it comes to investing in its people. The training programme covers all aspects of professional life - technical and soft skills, the practical and the theoretical. And the courses are generally tailored to individual levels of experience so that they are of maximum value in developing staff. This means everyone at PwC, from the most junior to the most senior, can get the best out of what HCL has to offer. Mark

HCL is fundamental to the ongoing development of staff. This commences with the graduate induction course through to ongoing technical and personal development programmes for all levels of staff. The skills learnt underpin and enhance performance. Whilst attending the various courses there is the opportunity to interact with staff members from other lines of service. Stacey

The wide range of services and courses offered by HCL provides all employees with an opportunity to further both their commercial and personal skill sets. My participation at numerous HCL courses since commencing my employment with PricewaterhouseCoopers has been invaluable in assisting with my career development and confidence as a professional advisor in the Firm's taxation services division.
