On 22 May 2008 the International Tax Review presented its Annual European Tax Awards in London. Europe's leading law and accounting firms vied for the 53 awards announced by the International Tax Review's fourth annual European Tax Awards. PricewaterhouseCoopers Cyprus participated for the first time along with other international firms from Cyprus offering tax services. A great celebration of the most innovative tax transactional, structuring, litigation and transfer pricing work done in Europe between February 2007 to February 2008. To decide the winners, the International Tax Review's journalists undertake detailed research from a variety of sources - submission from firms of actual cases, consultations with a large number of tax advisers, tax executives and in-house counsel to gain the perspective on ground-breaking work in tax advice by the competing firms between February 2007 and February 2008.

The revenue growth for 2007 was 25 per cent whilst over the last five years tax services have tripled in people being the leading tax practice on the island with 10 tax partners and more than 100 tax professionals.
