Gender Advisory Council

Acting on our commitment to women at PwC


Created in 2006, the Gender Advisory Council is an action- and results-oriented advisory group who provide advice and assistance to PwC Global CEO Sam DiPiazza on the issue of women at PwC. With members from ten PwC firms around the world, the Council’s objectives are aimed at:
  1. Educating and raising awareness of the business case for better focus on female retention and development across all territories;

  2. Raising awareness of the current state;

  3. Researching, identifying and recommending specific actions and initiatives to support leadership development for women and improved succession; and

  4. Defining accountability – working to improve the “status quo” and recommending measures to sustain progress and success.
