The issue
The company was seeking assistance for its internal and external reporting on its global Corporate Social Activities Programme – including identification of relevant social issues, support for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) design, assistance for selecting and implementing an appropriate reporting system.
Our approach
PwC designed and tailored a specific approach to meet client expectations on each step of the project. Our responsibilities included:
- Performing a benchmark of social KPI and reporting guidelines;
- Interviewing approximately 20 managers in charge of human resources and social issues;
- Proposing a set of relevant KPI, related definitions and explanations;
- Developing a set of questionnaires for approximately 100 subsidiaries;
- Conducting the selection of an appropriate reporting tool;
- Assisting the deployment of the reporting tool through subsidiaries; and
- Measuring stakeholders satisfaction.
The outcome
Our work contributed to the publication of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Report. The company also had the benefit of an operational reporting and management tool for social and human resources data and issues.
