24 August 2009 - PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Czech Republic Forensic Services team was strengthened by the addition of Jan Vylita, Director, and Michal Kohoutek, Senior Manager. Both Jan and Michal are returning to Prague after working in PwC offices abroad.
Jan Vylita (39) has specialised in area of forensic investigations and disputes since 2000. The last three years Jan has been in Bratislava estabilishing a Forensic practise in Slovakia, and continues to be responsible for that market.
“It is a bitter experience to be the subject of fraud or a party to a dispute. I help companies to get over such unpleasant and unique situations“, added Jan to his qualification..
Jan graduated from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague, and is qualified with and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the United Kingdom (ACCA UK) and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Jan is married and has two children, Tadeáš and Terezka. He is fond of mineralogy and all sports, particularly biking and football.
Michal Kohoutek (33) has specialised in forensic services for over 6 years. Michal has returned after a two year secondment in San Francisco, USA where he focused on corruption investigations. Michal will focus on further establishing of our litigation support practice.
“I will capitalise on my foreign experience to find the best solutions for our clients here in the Czech Republic,” said Michal.
Michal graduated from Mendel's University, Brno and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Great Britain (ACCA). Michal is married and has two sons, Aleš and Leoš. He enjoys spending his leisure time with his family.
