In Print: Enhancing Canada’s International Tax Advantage

This In Print issue features a speech by PwC’s Canadian National Tax Services leader Nick Pantaleo. In May 2009, Nick spoke at the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Prairie Provinces Tax Conference about his experience as a member of the Advisory Panel on Canada’s System of International Tax and the final report that the group released in December 2008.

Nick shares his perspective on the need for such a panel and the environment it faced during deliberations and when making recommendations in the report. He also discusses the principles in the final report that should guide tax policy makers when making changes to Canada’s international tax system and how these principles support the report’s recommendations.
